Datum

The Aerium Datum is a high-precision, multi-band GNSS receiver optimized for UAVs, drones, and robotic applications requiring fast, reliable, and accurate location data. Powered by the advanced u-blox NEO-M9N chipset, it supports concurrent reception of four GNSS constellations and integrates a built-in active ceramic antenna with onboard protection and filtering for enhanced reliability in harsh environments.

Software

Configuration Steps

  • Default protocol: UBX over UART
  • Configurable using u-blox u-center software
  • Adjust:
    • Baud rate
    • Output frequency
    • GNSS constellation selection
    • Message types (NMEA / UBX)
    • Spoofing/jamming protection

Integration Steps

  1. Connect VCC (3.3 – 12 V) and GND to your power source.
  2. Connect UART or I²C lines to your flight controller or embedded system.
  3. Mount securely to UAV frame using M3 bolts and spacers.
  4. Configure the module with u-center or compatible software if needed.
